Spain defeats Cyprus, Belgium triumphs, and Italy defeats Ukraine in the EURO qualifiers

<p>In Group A of the European Qualification, Spain easily defeated Cyprus 6-0, while Belgium continued their perfect streak against Estonia with a 5-0 victory, and Italy defeated Ukraine 2-1 on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Lex Baena scored on his debut, while Ferran Torres scored twice as Spain’s subs ran wild in the second half to defeat Cyprus. reports UEFA.</p>
<p>The hosts’ first goals came from Nico Williams, who cut back for Gavi to volley in and then clipped a ball for Mikel Merino to head in before leaving the field with an injury. On his full debut, Lamine Yamal made a strong impression and almost scored when his shot rebounded off the crossbar.</p>
<p>After the halftime, Joselu scored on a header from a corner kick by Dani Carvajal, followed by a quick-fire double from Torres. To complete a successful night’s work, rookie Baena scored from close range in between.</p>
<p>Belgium defeated Estonia to maintain its sectional lead thanks to goals from captain Romelu Lukaku and Jan Vertonghen on their 150th and 150th international appearances, respectively.</p>

<p>Four minutes before the break, Ukraine responded when Andriy Yarmolenko scored after Gianluigi Donnarumma made a save to keep Artem Dovbyk out.</p>
<p>Giacomo Raspadori’s shot was blocked by Bushchan with his fingers, while Manuel Locatelli’s attempt struck the crossbar, preventing the Azzurri from scoring more in the second half.</p>
