MK Stalin has announced a financial award for the Indian hockey squad as part of the Asian Champions Trophy

<p>In addition, Hockey India has stated that each player on Team India would get Rs 3 lakh, while support staff members will receive Rs 1.5 lakh apiece.</p>

<p>Dilip Tirkey, the current president of Hockey India and a former player for the Indian national team, said that the organization will be awarding a monetary reward of Rs 3 lakh to each player and Rs 1.50 lakh to each support staff member.</p>
