Five kittens were born to two snow leopards at the Darjeeling Zoo in West Bengal, according to authorities on Saturday. They reported that the two male and two female cubs were doing nicely.
According to authorities, there are currently 14 snow leopards living at the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park in Darjeeling as a result of the arrival of the five youngsters. The health of the cubs and their moms is being given special attention, they said. The 1958-founded zoo is renowned for its skill in rearing endangered Himalayan animals in captivity.
